MN Dance Company is creating new performance GO! Borderless in collaboration with GO!2025 and SNG Nova Gorica for Nova Gorica's candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2025.
Cross-border performance GO! Borderless on abstract way illustrates the time when the border was forced upon the population of this area as an artifical barrier. Cutting through families, where grandparents could not see their grandchildren grow up, cutting through stables where caws ate in Italy and slept in Yugoslavia, cutting through the living and the dead where the city was on one side and the cemetary on the other. The performance involves the dancers from Italy and Slovenia.
The performance was presented on the open stage at Europe square on 14th of August.
