A Glimpse into the MN Summer Dance Intensive

MN Dance Company welcomed 34 dancers from 11 countries for a 10-day journey of training, creativity, and collaboration. Participants joined us from Slovenia, Italy, Sweden, Germany, the United Kingdom, North Macedonia, the Czech Republic, the Netherlands, Brazil, China, and Singapore, creating a truly international exchange of cultures and artistic voices.

IMG_6133Every summer, MN Dance Company opens its doors to dancers from around the world for an unforgettable intensive program. Designed for advanced and pre-professional dancers.

Participants train daily with the company’s choreographers and dancers, immersing themselves in floorwork, partnering, technical classes, and MNDC repertoire. Beyond technique, the program offers something rare — the opportunity to step into the company’s creative process and help shape a brand-new work created especially for the intensive.

The journey culminates in a public performance, where dancers share the result of their dedication and creativity on stage. With over 50 hours of dance and creation, the MN Summer Intensive is more than training — it’s a celebration of community, growth, and the transformative power of dance.

The culmination of these inspiring days took place on August 20th at SNG Nova Gorica, where the dancers shared the stage in a performance that celebrated their dedication, artistry, and growth.

Captured through the lens of Natalia Polonskaia, the photos reveal the energy, focus, and passion that filled the studio and stage. More than an intensive, it became a community of dancers — learning, creating, and inspiring one another.

We look back on these 10 days with gratitude and pride, and we look forward to welcoming the next generation of dancers to the MN Summer Intensive.

Stay tuned for the next edition of the MN Summer Intensive — applications for 2026 will open soon!
