Following the successful outdoor premiere of Borderless Body at Cerje, MN Dance Company began an intensive process of adapting the performance for theatre spaces. The transition from an open-air site-specific environment into a theatrical setting opened new possibilities for light, atmosphere, intimacy, and choreographic precision.
The performance was presented at SNG Nova Gorica, where the work evolved into a new stage version while preserving its original conceptual core. Through movement, visual imagery, and physical intensity, Borderless Body explores themes of identity, artificial intelligence, human connection, and the increasingly blurred boundaries between the physical and digital world.
The adaptation process allowed the company to further deepen the dramaturgy and spatial composition of the piece, creating a powerful theatrical experience that continues to develop through each new performance.
