Within – Beyond celebrated its official premiere at SNG Nova Gorica with a performance concept that invited audiences on a journey between two spaces, reflecting the very essence of the diptych.
The evening began inside the theatre with Within, choreographed by Michal Rynia and Nastja Bremec Rynia. Set within the intimate atmosphere of the stage, the first part welcomed audiences into an exploration of the inner world, drawing them into a space of reflection, vulnerability, and human emotion.
Following the indoor performance, the audience was guided outside to the amphitheatre of SNG Nova Gorica, where Beyond, choreographed by Miloš Isailović, unfolded beneath the open sky. The transition from the enclosed theatre to the outdoor stage became an integral part of the artistic experience, expanding the performance from the personal and introspective to the collective and boundless.
This carefully conceived spatial journey transformed the evening into more than a dance performance—it became an immersive experience in which movement, architecture, and audience shared the same path.
